THE BRIEF

The Surface Design Show is currently the only exhibition Durasein attends in the UK calendar, making it an exciting but high-stakes event.

Envisage was challenged with creating a stand they could rely on – one that would get noticed in a smaller, design-focused exhibition and convert footfall into strong leads. The Surface Design Show’s more intimate scale presented a strong opportunity for Durasein to dominate its footprint.

What we delivered

Open sided exhibition stand for Durasein at The Surface Design Show
A considered, exposed layout
The stand was open on three sides, a decision that did two things: Increased footfall from all surrounding aisles and created a clear focus on the back feature wall. With no visual barriers, visitors could step straight into the space.

Signature bespoke feature elements
To cut through a sea of neutral exhibition palettes, we introduced bespoke feature pieces that stopped people mid-walk. A custom Pantone colour wall injected energy into the space. Alongside this, we created an integrated reception and coffee point. Not overly formal. Not hidden away. Just a natural place to gather.

A semi-private meeting space
Not every conversation happens on the aisle. Which is why we created a semi-private meeting area that offered separation without isolation. It allowed the team to step slightly out of the main flow while still feeling connected to the stand’s atmosphere.

THE EXPERIENCE

From early on, the stand drew a steady, engaged crowd.

Architects, designers and decision-makers stepped in, interacted with the material and stayed to talk. For a focused, design-led exhibition, the results were strong. Durasein secured an impressive number of high-quality new leads from this show alone – genuine conversations with specifiers who experienced the product first-hand.
